Study Session Volume 2: Filipino Artists Impart their Ventures and Adventures in Japan

Magandang Hapon! is the second installment of the lecture series for the 98B (Manila) and Koganecho (Yokohama) research and project residency program. Artists Buen Calubayan and Leeroy New will share their encounters, trials and recollections while engaged in their creative pursuits in Japan. Calubayan was part of the JENESYS’ curator-in residence program at Aomori Contemporary Art Center in 2011, while New was a participating artist at the Fukuoka Asian Art Triennale in 2009.
